Whilst W. J. & W. Lang Ltd are part of the Scottish Leather Group, we trade independently and have a separate Environment Policy which gives a better reflection of our operation and requirements.

Concern for the Environment is integral and fundamental to the business strategy of W. J. & W. Lang Ltd.
It is the policy of W. J. & W. Lang Ltd., that we comply with all relevant legislative requirements for which we have responsibility and that we will have the necessary procedures and controls in place to prevent pollution, as defined in ISO 14001 Standard.
The reduction of emissions to water, land or air is a constant aim and a significant feature in process and investment decision making .
We will take into account environmental impact as well as economic and safety considerations in all functions and aspects of our operation.
We are committed to training our employees to ensure that a high level of competence is achieved.
W. J. & W. Lang Ltd will ensure that the human and financial resources necessary for the communication and implementation of this policy are provided.
